You don't need me to tell you that I'm not very photogenic! I'm one of those people that will go to the ends of the earth to avoid having my photograph taken. It's not that I mind having a camera snap me, it's just seeing the results that I don't particuarly care for. However, I've included some of my less-scary pics on this page so you can judge for yourself! Be warned... the further you scroll down, the worse I look!

These are two of the photos that we selected from the BBC Radio Manchester session in March 2007. I only knew that I was having them taken when I got a text message at 6.25 in the morning! Luckily, I was due to be on a residential course in Bristol the following day so I had a change of clothes with me.

If I'm being honest, I think that these are the best photos of me for a long while! These were taken by Claire Wood

I also had some professional photos taken when I was at BBC Radio Leeds in 2004. Unfortunately, I never managed to get hold of them and this is the only image I have from that session. This shot was used on my presenter profile page on the BBC Radio Leeds website.

2002...

This isn't the worst photograph that has been taken of me... but it's fairly close to it!

This one is from September 2002 - again a BBC publicity shot. If only I'd combed my hair it might have been a little less scary!

We couldn't afford to have a professional photographer take our pictures at the hospital, so one night after the monthly meeting I turned up with my camera and randomly shot all the people there, then I turned the camera on myself!

This is a souvenir from the Millennium Dome! I think it was in the BT Zone. They were demonstrating how quickly technology was moving on... so much so that it was even possible for you to have your photo taken with ET. This is a scan from the credit-card sized print out that you were given.
